I've been writing since someone stuck a crayon in my hand and pointed out that "Sue can run." I quickly figured out that not only can she run, she can play, dance, laugh, trip, scream, bleed, crash cars, snort coke, get into an Ivy league school, cure cancer, walk on the moon, levitate things with her mind, fall in love with the wrong guy when the right guy is standing in front of her, defy her superiors and expectations, embrace her detractors and the ridiculous, and drive a bus at a steady 55 miles per hour to keep it from exploding.

World Beat if it's got a beat, Ska in all its in carnations, but particularly garage ska, all things funk, a disconcerting amount of disco, and, increasingly, mashups.
